Crow was the only Heisman Trophy winner coached by the late Paul W. Bryant (at Texas A&M).
A&M is reporting that he has passed.
He was also an assistant at Alabama from 1969-71.
I talked to him about Junction a couple of years ago -- he didn't make the trip to Junction because he was an arriving freshman (and they weren't included) but he talked about those guys and what it was like seeing those nearly-empty busses return.
