For years, whether it was Bamaonline, TideSports, TiderInsider, or TideIllustrated, this has been a home for me for Tide Sports news, except during the Kyle Henderson attempt to destroy the site.
There was nothing like reading articles by Tony T, Tommy Deas, Cecil Hurt and many other, but the success of the site was the posters, many now gone to a better life. You have all been family to me, even PWest. Boy I miss Milso and many others.
We made it though Albert Means, Coach Fraudchonnie, Mike Price, Coach Shula, Probation and we even survived the great years.
As we enter a new age, I am willing to give On3 a second chance. I hope to see all of my brothers, even the ones that argue, over there.
I cannot leave, without thanking Kelly and Tony and others for saving and rebuilding this site, after the dark days of Kyle Henderson. Maybe Basketball Coach and JAG will have a role with On3. There are seven days to go and I will be here to the end waiting for the Mayor’s game day roll call trying to finish the Countdown to August 30.
Thank you all for being there for me, through illness and good times. Some of you were part of my survival from the C word and you kept me going, even though you did not know it. The countdown started years ago, not because I was waiting for the season to start, but to finish the countdown and to keep me fighting for 100 days at a time that I did not know if I had 100 days. May 30, 2003, was not a good day for me, but February 1, 2004, was a lot better. I kept the countdown going since that time, and the countdown now belongs to the board and not me. Anyone that wants to start the Countdown any day, has my blessing. The only turf I do not step on belongs to Ducky Lee.
Anyway, I hope to see Tony, Kyle and my old friend JAG and all of you over at On3. Take care and May the Lord always bless you
