I used to cringe when he came in. Cussed when he shot a 3. Rolled my eyes when he assaulted people on D. But hell we don’t have anyone who fights for a rebound. It’s embarrassing. At least this kid gets after it. He made 5 or 6 no stat plays that gave us second shots. Problem is we run a fast break shoot 3s offense. Right now our guards are turnover machines and can’t hit water if they fell out of a boat in the gulf. Defense and rebounding also sucks. This is on Oats to get it fixed. Adding a scrapper like Rojas can’t hurt. We got Bediako refusing to go strong and JQ afraid to shoot open 3s. This was supposed to be an easier stretch. We are in big trouble if we don’t figure something out fast.

Rojas needs to know his role. I remember him last year taking off with the ball and resulting in a turnover. Same thing happened last night. He forces things on the offensive side of the ball. Yes, he plays hard but not a good option.

At least we have someone playing with toughness. Not a great player but could be the leader that the team needs.
