Alabama footballās Ryan Williams was named to the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All-America Team, the group announced Tuesday.
The accolade is Williamsā fifth All-America recognition, adding to his Freshman All-America honors from On3, Pro Football Focus and 247Sports, along with a second team All-America nod from the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). The first-year standout also earned first team All-Southeastern Conference and Freshman All-SEC accolades by the league coaches in addition to being named a second-teamer on the league list from the Associated Press.

- Also contributed 48 rushing yards on four attempts with two touchdowns
- Added 10 punts returns for 120 yards to go with two kickoff returns for a combined 14 yards
