That he'd only turn to the portal to add a player that would really
contribute to the team, not merely add just depth to the roster.
Maybe as fans, we're a little spoiled and accustomed to the
run of great QBs that BAMA has been blessed.
I've got to respect Saban's track record, he's far
smarter than me.......Jake Coker. is an example. But, I STILL believe
that Ty Simpson will prevail, (based on the very tiny A-game sample). I've heard from sources that are usually reliable that Buchner had an outstanding spring game at ND, showed great improvement from last year. Also, Brian Kelley's comments when he 1st recruited him.
So, maybe we're "jumping the gun", a little bit.........I trust in Saban's judgement.
