Jalen has been good this spring. No one knows how ADay will turn out but he's been good but has been given no guarantee that he's won the job even with Tua out. Same with Tua, he's been hurt but felt like he was in the drivers seat after the Nc game. His injury has limited and frustrated him. Saban has a good but fragile situation. Both families, I believe, think this is going to go on longer than it needs to. Hurts' dad knows the game that Sabans playing and was trying to get ahead of the curve for what's best for his son.

I don't believe Jalens nor Tuas dad are Blake Barnett dad types but this will be interesting how this plays out. Whichever one comes out on top, the other is gone in January 2019, especially if Jalen because he's graduates in December.

One thing we haven't considered is that Tua hasn't played an entire season and taken SEC hits as a small QB. Not saying he's going to get hurt but Jalen played with a lower leg injury all last season. Will be interesting. If he gets hurt he could easily take a redshirt year, then we don't lose him or his brother.

There have been many new installations in the offense this spring. Jalen has been on point in those and picked up quickly, one thing that's helped him stand out. Jalen and Mac especially have been on point with the new offensive schemes.

You won't see those tomorrow, however. Very basic on offense.
