Much has been made about Saban's failure to beat auburn teams that have won 9 games or more. Let the record show that auburn would have won nine games in 2009, 2011, 2014, 2016, and 2018 had Bama not kicked their fannies. Apparently 9 wins qualifies as a great season at auburn. Auburn, like most SEC teams, has found the formula for 9 wins - 4 creampuffs, break even in conference, and win a mediocre bowl. As that great philosopher Pat Dye once said "don't let perception be confused with reality".
