I just wanted to post some reminders for the worry warts out there:
1. We won a National Title with Jay Barker as the QB and Derrick Ownes-Lassic as RB.
2. We won a National Title with GMAC as the QB and Eryk Anders as a linebacker.
3. Jacob Coker was the last QB at Alabama to lead Bama to a title.
For those that think Jalen Hurts cannot do the job, think about who has QB'ed us to titles. For those that think the LB corp cannot do the job, think about the corps that have done the job. The most talented three teams of the Saban Era, 2010, 2013, and 2016, did not win the Title. The least talented team of the Saban era, with the exception of 2007, did win the title, 2009. There was no way that Alabama was going to beat a more talented Texas team, until the Texas QB quit the first time he met an Alabama Defensive End.
The last time Alabama went into a National Title game before this one, with no chance to win, Alabama won against Miami. Trust in Saban and all will be fine. Hendo and Tony have promised us wins.
