I think is the unsung hero of this year. Our D looks like a completely different team than they were under Pete. I totally get rules change & we wont see the early 2010's D's ever again but we are flying 11 hats to the ball, making hard hits, tackling in open space, etc. So much more happy with that side of the ball this year. Props to Saban for bringing him back....the easy thing would have been to sign some up and coming coordinator.
