(The strength tests were done during the spring, I'm sure gains have been made this summer)
Here's the rundown:
QB: Jake Coker & David Cornwell tied for bench press @ 275#. Coker and 3 others each squatted 365#.
Running back: Derrick Henry, Bo Scarbrough,Kenyan Drake
Henry ran a 40 yd. dash in 4.5 secs.;benched pressed 440#; squatted 500#;and power cleaned 345#.
Scarbrough & Drake each benched-pressed 405#,and they both squatted 455#.
Wide Receivers: Chris Black, ArDarius Stewart
Black recorded top bench press @ 380#. Stewart squatted 455#,and power cleaned 275# He benched 355#.
Tight ends: Johnny Dwight, O.J.Howard
Converted D-lineman Dwight had top bench press 455# and best squat 530#. Dwight and Howard each had a 315# power clean. Howard ran a 4.59 40. He also was tied for second best @ TE in both the benchpress 405 and squat 500 #
O-lineman: Bradley Bozeman
Bozeman and Issac Luatua were only 2 O-lineman to bench pressed 500#, while Bozeman's 315# power clean was 2nd best behind Ryan Kelly. Bozeman squatted 525#, which was 4th best.
Kelly & Cam Robinson did not squat.
D-lineman: Josh Frazier, Jarren Reed
Frazier & Reed were 2 of 3 lineman that benched 500#. Frazier had the top power clean @ 375# and 3rd best squat behind dismissed lineman Jonathan Taylor & O.J.Smith @ 515#. Reed's 315# power clean was tied for 4th among D-lineman.
Linebacker: Dillion Lee, Ryan Anderson,Tim Williams
Lee had top bench press @455#. Anderson was 2nd best @450#.
Williams who ran a 4.75 40, was tied for first with a 315# power clean, tied for 3rd with a 405# bench press, and had top squat @545#.
DB's: Tony Brown, Maurice Smith, Cyrus Jones
Brown: track standout ran a 4.34 40. He had 2nd best bench press @395# and had top power clean @315#. He tied for first with a 455# squat.
Smith: was first in bench press @405# and squatted 455#.
Jones and dismissed Jonathan Cook tied for 3rd in bench press @ 390 #.
