The rhythm of the game. We are falling into the trap of allowing the other team to set the course of the game. I hope we can flip the narrative and establish our plan and quit playing down to our opponents.

They’re not playing down to their opponents. OU is going to be top 15 this week. Kentucky and Miss St played very good games and hung tough. Outside of that, Alabama has been beating good SEC teams by 20+ every game.
I slightly disagree. OU is good, but Bama didn't play up to par. Had they done so, they would have won by 10 or 15 points. Those 16 TOs, which are the results of sloppy play, were killers too. OU had a better game plan and our team, plus the refs, gave them a lot of help.
I think that you are correct about OU having a better game plan. Their weave gave us trouble and led to some easy shots while we did not get many good looks for 3s.
The thing that stands out to me is that two starters were out including (arguably) their best player in Reaves. The loss did not surprise me at all, I actually expected it, but the way we lost was a bit concerning. With that said, we are a damn good basketball team and we will be fine.

I will agree to an extent. The first 4 minutes OU was the aggressor and Bama had like 7 turnovers. The remaining game they were about dead even. A good lesson for our guys to remember come tournament time. You can't hope to turn your switch on and turn the other guy's switch off.
