1) The same problems that have haunted Alabama the past few weeks popped up again today. Rebounding and free throws. If you had told me Alabama would make 11 threes today at home and lose, I wouldn't have believed you. However, going 3-8 from the FT line in the final four minutes is what did them in. Arkansas outrebounded Alabama by eight and gave up 17 offensive rebounds. That is a killer against good shooting teams.

2) Where have Donta Hall and Herb Jones gone? Herb did not score and Donta only had 4 points in a game he should have double figures, again. They need production from them because they are not getting any production from the bench. Giddens can be thrown into the mix as well.

3) The season is still in front of Alabama, but this next game against Florida is so important. If they win that game, they'll make the tournament more than likely. They lose, then they HAVE to beat A&M on the road and possibly win a game in the SEC tournament. Alabama's RPI will still be in the 30's with a top 10 SOS. Bama just needs a win. 14 losses is near impossible to get into the tournament.

Very tough loss being at home, but Arkansas is a very strong RPI team and will make the tournament. Still, it would've been nice to go into the final two games knowing you'll make the tournament. We will see what this team is made of in the next two games. It'll have to be turned around quick.
