I have never considered myself a home boarder, and this is my first post here. As a post '92 alumni, and a former Alabama athlete, I think everyone here should get a grip on reality. Those young men and that coaching staff accomplished the near impossible by making it to a championship game two years in a row with an unseasoned signal caller. As alumni or sidewalk fans, we should not for a second hang our heads or speak Ill of ours schools athletes given the amount of grit or determination they displayed this season.

To succumb to the narrative of talking head chumps on TV or on radio is to fall into the trap of the ignorant Alabama stereotype. Be better than that. The athletes and staff representing our should be able to expect that given the effort they have put forward that we have been able to enjoy.

Leave the slack jawed yokel chatter for a fan base less fortunate.
