Because our Offense is scoring so fast....If we commit to pounding the football the game shortens. I can tell many on here have never played before. There's always a price to pay for avg. 50 pts a game. Go look at historical data on High-Octane offense and the results of their defense. Our defensive personnel is fine, and when that time comes for them face the challenge they WILL be ready.
Another thing, if BRob and Najee were lined up deeper in the backfield coming down-hill you would see better results from them. But, because Tua and our receivers are so good they have to line up in Shotgun Offset, which is suited for quicker shiftier backs. So, those guys have had to adjust their running style to our offense.
