This is in no way personal! Hurts is a reincarnation of Akili Smith. He will get drafted thanks to the OU stat machine, but his inability to read defenses and accuracy issues will not fly in the league.

I would love to see anyone including JH grow, but he is so far removed currently from being a professional QB at the highest level.

Will never play QB in the NFL.

He will get drafted on Day 3. Then he will have to fight to make a team.

The Senior bowl has invited many many players that have not had successful careers in the NFL. The bottom line in all of this is the fact Hurts won't have a successful career in the NFL period!

Hurts relied on his feet too much at Alabama and never became fully developed as a passer ok??? Most of his successful throws were under 20 yds. He did improve in the latter stages at Alabama but not enough. Hurts has an exaggerated gathering motion, which in turn leads to a slow release time. Hurt's cast was good around him often looked better than he actually was. FACT! At Oklahoma, he relied on bad defenses of the Big 12 to shine.

10 years? Are you serious? The over/under here should be 3 years. He’ll be doing well at Houston as a WR coach well before he turns 30

What is planned for him, is he will never be a success in the NFL as a QUARTERBACK! That is just the way it is. Deal with it. His stats in college are misleading like a lot of stats prove to be. His success was more about the talent around him more than about him.

But hurts won’t make millions lol. He will struggle to even make a squad this fall. How much does the XFL pay 60-70k a season? That’s going to be the extend of Jalen’s pro career.

I know this has been discussed before and Jalen doesn’t really want to do it. But he needs to become Taysom Hill 2.0 and make himself a ton of money as a Swiss Army knife. And, when Wentz inevitably goes down, he’ll get the chance to show his skills at QB. But, swallow your pride, make some money, take of yourself and your family, and be an exciting playmaker. BEING TAYSOM HILL is his golden ticket. Do it. Do it. Bacardi and cola. Do it.
