I was fortunate to have coached Tristan’s father at Century High School, Century, Florida. His dad was the starting free safety and WR and of course a starting guard on the basketball team during his time at Century. He graduated in 1992 and joined the military. Tristan has relatives still living in Century. The Newton family members are well respected in the town.
