Have to admit I was was somewhat discouraged after the Mizzo and Ark. loses and was concerned about the toughness of the team. But...WOW did the team and Oates answer my concerns. Gosh the team reached deep and came together and played like Champs against Tennessee and LSU of which both games could have fallen either way.
BlueBlood thoughts : I know there is tons of excitement about the job Oates and the team have accomplished but I hope we do not go the ONE and DONE route of recruiting. Yes, it is great to have someone that talented on the team but I like the IDEA THAT WE HAD THREE SENIORS THAT STAYED AND DEVELOPED THAT REALLY GAVE US THE MATURITY TO SUCCEED. So, glad the BlueBlood programs like Duke, Kentucky, etc. are suffering. Going to be interesting at how this new G-League in the NBA impacts the Blueblood programs and College basketball overall.
