The west side of LA is engulfed in flames due to dry conditions and hurricane force Santa Ana winds (dry winds emanating from the high desert). Having lived there, lots of friends and family evacuated. Apparently a new fire started in Pasadena, and the report said it threatens the Rose Bowl. Truly scary.
