to just enjoy a good game without a dog in the fight. And to just see how LSU compares to past teams. I've been going to games in Baton Rouge since the early 80's. IMO LSU did okay against a very physical Auburn defensive front. LSU throws a lot of short slants and quick outs that I can't believe defensive lineman don't 'bat down'. Burrows is good, but can be beat. LSU had their chances to score more points, but mistakes cost them at least 10 to 13 points. They were favored by 11.5 and only won by 3. And it was a physical game. I believe the analyst have been right all along, LSU could be our biggest test regular season. Lastly, Nix, as a freshman, was impressive.
