The way the defense respects his arm expect some shots early downfield but this is only to open up the running lanes. If you’re expecting to see wide open passing, not gonna happen. Expect this OLine of 5stars to open running lanes bc that is the goal to pound them and control the clock. Staff feels like we can run down anyone’s throat at will with Tua at QB.
Hurts:
RPOs. Locksleys new RPOs have been made especially for Jalen to keep the defense on its toes after taking a pounding from the run game. Jalen is the wildcard here. Expect him 3rd or 4th series through halftime. Will keep the defense on its toes. Jalen will have some openings in the passing game too due to defenses respecting his legs and being unpredictable.
How this flows and the success of the offense under Hurts will determine how much of him we see going forward. The plan is to use both if possible as this will be a nightmare for opposing coaches. Salute Locksley for putting things together. Brob will be seen in some 2 back sets. Waddle will be placed in open space. Watch for him when Hurts is in.
