Today is decision day for five-star safety KJ Bolden and it’s down to Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State and Georgia.
Bolden has been a major target for the last several years and brings plenty to the table with his ability to be a playmaker on either side of the ball.
Bolden took his official visit the final week of June with several other major players such as Peyton Woodyard, Ellis Robinson III, etc.
For a while behind the scenes it seemed as though Georgia was the clear favorite but given some time behind the scenes Florida State seemed to be telling Bolden what he wanted to hear.
As of late Auburn has been the team with all the buzz in the southeast after finishing July with a bang. Now based on all reports, the Tigers should not be ignored but at the same time they may have too much ground to make up.
Ohio State has been a solid option all along but with all the others programs in his top group located in the south, you have to believe that is a major factor.
In conclusion, Bolden has been an interesting cover and will be a MAJOR get for whomever lands him; I just don’t expect that team to be Alabama. From all reports the leader is Florida State and it’s seeming that their lead will stand will he announces later today.
More to come.
