2018 regular season under Steve Sarkisian:

Total Offense: 6th in the NFL (That’s better than the Saints this year)

Passing Offense: 4th in the NFL

Red Zone Offense: 9th in the NFL (That’s better than the Patriots, LA Rams, and Eagles to name a few)

Yards Per Play: 4th in the NFL (Only teams ahead of them are Chiefs, Rams, and Bucs)

3rd Conversation %: 4th in the NFL

Total Yards per Game: 6th in the NFL (Once again, better than the Saints)

Points Per Game: Tied with the Colts at 25.9 for 8th in the NFL

This year, the Falcons 7-9 record was not because Steve Sarkisian screwed them over every game with bad play calling. On offense, they lost their 2 starting guards and starter Devonta Freeman at RB. On defense, they lost Ricardo Allen, Deion Jones, and Keanu Neal. They lost a lot key players.

In the National Championship against Clemson back in the 2016-2017 season, Steve Sarkisian had one week to prepare for them after we let Lane Kiffin go. We put up 31 points, Bo Scarbrough broke his leg, and freshman Jalen Hurts could not complete a pass over 10 yards. Out of all of that, we lost on a last second play to a generational talent at QB in Deshaun Watson.

Steve Sarkisian is gonna have Tua as his QB and many more weapons at his disposal. He’s gonna teach Tua a lot of things that Mike Locksley could not as far as reading a defense when they’re disguising coverages and also utilizing check downs as opposed to going for the home run play every time. He recruited Tua when he was the HC at USC and Tua & his family think a lot of Steve Sarkisian believe it or not.
