Surely….

Today on the field if not always it will have SABAN FIELD chalked in somewhere like around the 20-25 yard line. I know some universities are selling that spot for $$$ which isn’t a bad idea especially for NIL but at least today we should display this for the Greatest of all time in college football.
I’m old as dirt and witness almost all of Coach Bryant but times have changed and are still doing it now. In 20-30 years from now they will be saying this about another coach. I won’t be around but I hope it’s about our new coach Kalen DeBoer

DirecTV and ESPN, et al.

Tried to get the LSU v U$C game tonight, but no luck. . . .

As an old dude with limited streaming experience, I dealt with DirecTV's lack of airing the Pac-12 Network for years and years. Now, DirecTV and ESPN are in a contract dispute. No ESPN. No SEC Network. Apparently no ACC Network either (as is probably obvious my alma mater is a new transplant to the ACC). Called to complain with DirecTV and the guy had the gall to offer me a $1.20 credit. A dollar and twenty cents!

Done. What I'm hoping for are suggestions on the best streaming services for the SEC and the ACC. We only watch local TV and the news channels as well. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

FWIW, My daughter had a blast at her first game last night. Fun stuff! Tough not to enjoy that game.--the energy seemed great!

Kalen DeBoer said the word “fun” six times during his postgame press conference last night. While Alabama's 63-0 win over Western Kentucky wasn't perfect, it certainly provided plenty of entertainment. Here are my takeaways from the win.

Football 🏈 What to watch for in Alabama's Week 2 matchup against South Florida

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The weather forecast calls for clear skies during Saturday night’s matchup between No. 4 Alabama and South Florida. That’s already an improvement from last year’s meeting when the Crimson Tide slogged out an ugly 17-3 victory amidst what felt like a typhoon in Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium.

Alabama matchup following a dominating 63-0 win over Western Kentucky during its opener last week. South Florida is also coming off a Week 1 blowout after easily dismantling FCS foe Bethune-Cookman, 48-3. Here are five things we’ll be watching for when the two teams take the field inside Bryant-Denny Stadium at 6 p.m. CT Saturday.
