The latest from 2026 DE Nolan Wilson...

Another great visit to Alabama over the weekend as the Crimson Tide continue to be a top contender:

"This was my second game day visit this season just like against Georgia. It was a great environment. The coaching staff made me and my mother feel so comfortable. Coach (Kalen) DeBoer and I had another one on one visit just like we did at the Georgia game. He just continues to express how much he likes my playing style and abilities on the field and that he’s going to be personally recruiting me as well. Coach (Freddie) Roach consistently tells me that he wants to coach me, that is his message.

"I like Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M so far out of all the visits I’ve been on so far. I’m really going to do my due diligence and vet each program to see which one actually is somewhere I see myself playing."

Pick the Winners Week 10

I started not to post this week since the team I care about does not play, but Ducky Lee winning changed my mind. As usual pick the score and leading rusher for the winning team in game 12.

1. Duke at Miami

2. Indiana at Michigan State

3. Pitt at SMU

4. Louisville at Clemson

5. Oregon at Michigan

6. Ohio State at Penn State

7. U Mass at Mississippi State

8. Kentucky at Tennessee

9. Texas A&M at South Carolina

10. Ole Miss at Arkansas

11. Florida at Georgia

12. Vanderbilt at Auburn (Pick score and leading rusher for winning team with yardage.)

Board of Trustees meeting

Alabama's board of trustees' compensation committee will consider new contracts for the following coaches:

— Kristy Curry (women's basketball, head coach)
— George Husack (men's tennis, head coach)
— Jason Jackson (baseball, assistant coach)

— Glenn Putyrae (rowing head coach)
— Dan Waters (track/cross country, head coach)

Football Recruiting Rising in-state DE talks new offer from Alabama, recaps weekend visit

Great conversation with Jamarion Matthews who picked up an offer from Alabama during his visit over the weekend.

Who is the best qb from another team you’ve seen Alabama play against at Bryant Denny ?

Best overall performance would be Joe Burrow with LSU. He was almost flawless in that win.
Second Jayden Daniels in a loss last year . I was tempted to put him first because of the wow factor and how he made Bama’s five star defense look slow at times. And he was a very good passer too.
Tie for third would be Cam newton and Johnny Manziel

I’m sure I have recency bias. What are y’all’s thoughts about qbs you’ve seen at BDS??

Football 🏈 Alabama hoping to see more consistency from RT Elijah Pritchett

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Raise your hand if this sounds familiar — a former top-rated tackle showing flashes of his five star talent while struggling in his frist season as a starter.

Kadyn Proctor fit that description for Alabama last year, giving up 12 sacks and 36 pressures while starting at left tackle as a true freshman. This year, Elijah Pritchett has dealt with a few growing pains during his first season as a starter.
