Alabama was down 4 players (3 likely starters) and still dominated a top 5 ACC team.
Alabama imposed their style on Wake Forest and they never looked back. Newcomers Aden Holloway, Cliff Omoruyi, Labaron Philon, and Derrion Reid all showed flashes of what they are going to bring to this year's team. I was super impressed with Aden's second half after struggling to find a rhythm in the first half. He kept shooting, and you can see why he was a former 5 star out of high school. The 3 guard lineup with him, Sears, and Philon was just unfair.
Defensively was where I was most impressed. They played an 80 possession game and they held Wake to 77 points and forced 15 turnovers. Not to mention 6 blocks. They battled on the board, even without Sherrell and Nelson and dominated the boards as well.
Obviously it was a scrimmage, but what an impressive first glimpse of this #2 preseason ranked Tide team
