It’s just business as usual for Alabama once again. They started out the game on a 9-2 run and then it was nip and tuck for the rest of the half, that is before Alabama went on a 8-0 run to take a 10 point lead into half time.
In a game where Brandon Miller didn’t score over 20 points and actually struggled to shoot from the field overall, others stepped up. Noah Clowney had 17 points and 14 boards, Sears finished with 17, and Quinerly hit big shots to score 13 and balloon Alabama’a lead.
Alabama’s defense was phenomenal most of the game. Missouri was 3/28 from 3 and shot 33% overall. They made things tough for Missouri, even with missing Kobe Brown they really didn’t get anything easy. Alabama was +6 in rebounds and had 21 second chance points.
This was one of the 3 games I thought Alabama could very well drop this year a couple weeks ago, but after a dominating win, you can’t help but think there’s not a game on the schedule they won’t win. This team continues on and they hit a soft stretch in the schedule before showdowns with Auburn and Tennessee
