Four-star WR Kaliq Lockett will announce his commitment on August 7. He will decide between Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Texas and Texas A&M. Lockett took an official visit to Alabama on June 17. He's being heavily recruited by quarterback commit Keelon Russell.

If I were Lame Kitten then I'd be concerned about 4-star RB AK Dear, who is fresh off his official visit to Alabama. Dear has been a top target for both Saban and DeBoer so the contact from Tuscaloosa has been consistent and relentless.

5 Star PG and top 10 player in 2025 Jasper Johnson has been on his official visit at Alabama this week.

From the intel I have gotten, Nate Oats is the coach he has the best relationship with. Before Coach Cal left, it was a foregone conclusion he would end up at Kentucky. However, with the coachign change, it has left his recruitment up in the air.

He has had a great visit and got to play ball with Brandon Miller who came back to campus and hung out with him. Johnson also has two AAu teammates on campus in Derrion Reid and Labaron Philon.

Alabama is in great shape currently.

I believe this was previously reported but Alabama will participate in the NIL-driven Player's Era Festival tournament in Las Vegas in 2025. The Crimson Tide is set to play in the inaugural addition of the tournament this coming season as well. Alabama will face Houston in its first game of the tournament next season.
