Football Recruiting Alabama target to announce commitment Tuesday

Three-star DE Javeon Campbell will announce his commitment at 10:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday.

I have a futurecast in for Alabama to land Campbell. He and his father were both impressed with Alabama after his official visit. Recap HERE. I like where Alabama stands.

Four-star TE Kaleb Edwards will also announce on Tuesday (no specific time scheduled). Edwards took an OV on June 14 and momentum seems to be gaining for Alabama.

Football Recruiting Four-star CB Dijon Lee commits to Alabama — LIVE UPDATES

Alabama has its second cornerback commit in the Class of 2025. Lee chose the Crimson Tide over Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M and Washington. He is the No. 30 overall player in the 2025 class.

Who's Next?

Coming into this weekend's visit I mentioned I was keeping an eye on three prospects:

Micah Dubose
Dubose actually committed about a day earlier (on Saturday night) than I thought he would. As mentioned his recruitment had been all over the place with Auburn, LSU and Georgia all thinking they were going to nail down his commitment with Alabama on the outside looking in. But something changed a little over a month ago and ever since Dubose has been trending to the Tide, which is why I put in my FutureCast pick to Bama back on 5/12.

Dijon Lee
Back on 6/12, I said "Georgia has given its best shot here but I think Lee is Bama's to lose. The California pipeline is real". Lee is supposed to announce his decision on 6/28. However, based on what Jack and several other Rivals faithful are saying today, I have a strong feeling the staff already knows where Dijon will be playing his college football. ;)

Josiah Sharma
Defensive line is still a big need in the '25 class and Sharma has garnered a ton of focus from the staff. Although he's been relatively quiet throughout his recruitment, Sharma has always been a huge fan of DeBoer. No doubt DeBoer and staff have generated a wave of momentum on the recruiting trail and I think Sharma could get swept up in the current very soon.

Dawson Merritt
Lastly, I'll add that the Nebraska staff seems to have come to the realization that 4-star LB Dawson Merritt is now Bama's to lose. I think Merritt is ready to put an end to his recruitment and announce for the Tide.

Football Recruiting Decision day for two top Alabama targets

Four-star cornerback Dijon Lee Jr. will announce his commitment at 1:30 p.m. CT today. Have submitted a Futurecast in favor of Alabama and I like the Tide's chances here. Finalists are Alabama, Georgia, Texas Texas A&M, USC and Washington.

Four-star DT Josiah Sharma will also commit today at 2 p.m. CT. Sharma was previously committed to DeBoer at Washington and is fresh off an official visit to Alabama. However, this race feels more open and he'll choose between the Crimson Tide, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

I saw an article

About Bear meeting Reggie Jackson. He said Bear referred to him using the “n” word. How many of you believe he would actually do that? He may have used the word Negro, but not the N-word. I have a hard time believing he did that especially to his face. Reggie said he didn’t mean anything by it when he said it, but that he did use the N-word.

Football 🏈 Alabama OL coach compares Kadyn Proctor's return to Christmas morning

Christmas came early in Alabama. At least that’s the way first-year offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic felt when he received news that five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor would be returning to the Crimson Tide after briefly transferring back home to Iowa.

“You remember when you were like 5 or 6 years old and it was Christmas Day and you woke up and saw there was presents under the tree?” Kapilovic said during a Wednesday appearance on Tide 100.9’s “The Game with Ryan Fowler. “That’s what it felt like.”
