Hoops 🏀 Nate Oats Tuesday presser

Nate Oats: "We're looking forward to getting back on the court to try and rectify the defense."
Oats said Ole Miss is not an easy team to play on the road.
Nate Oats: "It's pretty easy to get the guys' attention when you give up 117, but I think we had two solid days on the defensive end trying to fix some stuff."
Nate Oats said his players felt embarrassed and he felt embarrassed that the team he coached gave up that many points. Said the team is motivated now can they make it become who they are rather than just having a short motivational mindset
On Latrell Wrightsell: "He's still not 100%... you don't want to rush them because these things can go on and on if you don't handle it the right way."
Nate Oats said Alabama has to take pride in their defense to respond to the Kentucky game.
On who's improved the most defensively:
Nate Oats said Sam Walters was a disaster on defense at the start of the season and has come a long way: "He's not a disaster anymore, I'm not going to say he's Kawhi Leonard but he's come a long way." Said Mark Sears and Rylan Griffen have both improved on that side of the ball.
Nate Oats: "I don't think teams are changing the game plan that much they go to what they do and we haven't been able to take it away."
Nate Oats: "As bad as our defense was against Kentucky our turnovers might have been worse."

Hmmm….

You know these stinking Tennessee in Georgia fans keep jumping into my Facebook feed. I block him and somehow another they keep jumping back in this of course is too much temptation for a Bama fan to ignore. So, I congratulated Tennessee on ruining college football by helping stop the NCAA from enforcing the rules for its intended purpose. As you might guess, I got some pushback. All of a sudden, one Tennessee fan starts accusing ALABAMA of giving all their players dodge chargers to drive. What? I have never heard this accusation before. I’ve never read it on this board. I’ve never read it on Facebook never saw it on the news but according to this particular guy that’s what’s going on Bama. Have any of you guys ever heard such? As you might expect, he ended with a very classy go bang your sister comment. Nothing but class from Tennessee.
