Rivals100 prospect Chuck McDonald has taken multiple visits this year & has spoken highly regarding the Tide on every occasion.
Following the commitment of four-Star DB Zabien Brown, the Tide seem to be the team standing out for Mater Dei’s McDonald.
Brown and McDonald have a close connection. That paired with McDonald’s early interest in the Tide could see Alabama gaining momentum for the saavy 2025 prospect.
Brown spoke highly on McDonald saying that “he pushes me daily” and “Chuck is someone I’d want with me at Bama”. So taking those things into account, you can expect that he’ll [McDonald] be getting some pressure around him for him to choose the Tide.
So far Alabama has two commits in the ‘24 class with the staff working on more. The Tide are still looking for their first defensive commitment in the class and make no mistake McDonald would be a welcome addition.
