I agree 100%. We have to keep this guy. But I do wonder what has happened to the team since we beat FL. It seems like we are a completely different team.

The computer rankings love us - 19. We are the only six loss team in the top 25. We have the third most difficult schedule in the nation. The computers are much more accurate than people. It is what Vegas uses to set points on games. We have a lot of great teams ahead of us - Baylor, 2 with LSU, 2 with Kentucky, and another with Auburn. I still think we can be in the top 25 by the end of the regular season.

The “relevant” label has been used a lot since the Memphis blowout. Alabama made the NCAA tourney each year from 2002-2006, barely missing it in 2001. No one mentions it because we don’t want to equate Nate with Gottfried. And yes, we are so obsessed with making Nate “the guy” because Auburn is clearly the better program and the level of competition has risen with the rest of the SEC.
