Under Saban, it has usually been a quarterback having a career day: Johnny Football, Stephen Garcia, Cam (although he's shown it obviously wasn't a one-time thing), Tebow's (rare) precision passing for three TDs in the 2008 SECCG, etc.

I'm not saying that's the only thing, but it usually plays a big part.

Last year, Chad Kelly threw for 341 yards and 3 TDs and ran for another touchdown. Yeah, there was the lineman downfield and the lucky bounce off the helmet, but Ole Miss still doesn't win without him having a strong day (even with five Alabama turnovers).

To me, the key to winning this week is Alabama keeping him off-balance with disguising coverages, getting pressure and not allowing him to break containment to make plays with his feet -- to me this is a huge one as he has a way of extending drives by converting when things break down.

The other element is Alabama's ability to run the ball and keep him on the sideline, where he can do no harm.
