From the confusing bracket on their website it appears Bama will play Miami if they win. The better question might be who do they play if they lose, it's not looking good for our boys.

The refs aren’t helping the situation, but basically they still haven’t figured out how to play together. We don’t have anyone hitting outside shots aside from Shack as well.
Alabama leads Drake 59-57 with 7:42 to play.

This is the Oats way. It’s frustrating at times and fun at times. When we don’t shoot fast and it’s slow, we just don’t have a great system of player and ball movement to go to.
These types of teams are usually older and disciplined. And they usually do a good job of running offense and taking good shots, which turns into Bama playing in the half court more than running. It’s frustrating. I wish we had more player and ball movement, even if it’s just to get into a ball screen. Move the defense some so the help isn’t just standing there waiting every time.
Knock down. Oats said some crazy number he was shooting from 3 in the summer or fall camp.
our pace is just so much slower. Last year off a make were we’re pushing pushing pushing. This year waaaaaalk it up. I gotta know why they have played this way so much more
Yea that may be a way bigger deal than I thought it was. We could use another option to dish to. That said I think our bigger issue has been slow pace

Great job finishing the game. A freakin ton to work on. Pretty frustrating watch right now but I do think we will figure it out

This team has a LOOOOOOONG way to go! They play smaller and weaker than they are! And are going to settle in as a mediocre shooting team! They will need to find different ways to win! But i just dont get how Alex T doesnt get any minutes! All i heard was how we had a 7 footer who could score from abywhere! Well lets see it, because we need it!
Gary is the heart and soul of this team. This team still has final 4 potential. You can see it when they really buckle down on D at times. It was nice to see them close out a game at the free throw line.
Half court offense is a problem tho. Guys just need to shoot. Stop trying to press the paint. Run a set and move the ball. Iso with JD. JD needs more minutes imo. Energy is just different when hes in there.

Please stop making dumb post. Petty help lead this program to historic heights. Trust me we're missing him and Herb more than you think. It's game six of JD's freshman season. If you can't see the talent oozing from this kid please stay off the basketball board

he didn’t play a good game and I said earlier we need him to play much closer to his potential but saying he is overrated is just nonsense. His talent is obvious to anyone who has a clue.
Definitely didn’t click until sec play last year. Just out of sync on offense. Teams seem to be going all out to prevent us from running but at times we seem to prevent ourselves from running. We have to get our fast pace approach back going. It’ll come eventually

Petty was a phenomenal player. All time three point leader at Alabama. First team all sec. elite defender and rebounder as a guard. We will miss him big time this year
When Petty was stroking it, there was none better. His ball handling skills left a lot to be desired, but he more than made up for it with consistent hustle.
