Here we go again with the negative comments when Bama is struggling today. Any avid basketball fan knew today would be tough for a young team coming off a tough streak of hard fought games. Yes, they need to play better but they’ll get the rest they need in those legs to start making those shots again when it matters. This game doesn’t have much meaning to Bama

Once again a season where the SEC REFS prove they are the worst in the country and allow the excitement of the home arena to contol their decision making! And please stop calling Alabama a good 3 point shooting team and just say they shoot a million a game and hope for the best!🤦♂️🤦♂️
Sears is a selfish player. He rarely penetrates and kicks it out to the open guy. Very selfish

Texas A&M didn't make a FG over the final 4:17 but shot 27 of 28 from the FT line. Alabama turned the ball over 18 times and shot 34% from the floor, including 7 of 36 from beyond the arc.
28 vs 11 free throws… there is just such disparity playing on the road
You have to give A&M and Buzz credit. They are masters at fouling in a way that won't always get called while being A-list actors at drawing a foul call. They must spend 75% of their practice time hammering each other until they can foul and get foul calls on their terms.
Miller had at least two really awful foul calls on him so when he had a legit foul he already had 4 fouls.
Buzz just flat owns Nate. Period. His team's style is pure kryptonite to what Oats wants to do. If we get to Sun in Nash and we play A&M we'll probably lose again. If the selection committee really wants to mess with us they'll put A&M at the 8 line in the same bracket as us.

Sears momma got pretty loud on social media complaining that Oats was hurting Sears by not playing him enough and giving him the right opportunities. Sears game has absolutely tanked since then. It started a week or so before the SCe game.
He is a good coach.

Reading just a little bit of this thread is why I no longer come into game day threads. We have some shitty fvcking fans who will turn on a player in a heartbeat. Fvck what they have done all season, fvck winning the SEC and headed towards a #1 seed. A couple of bad games or plays and all of a sudden they are terrible, selfish, stupid, blah blah blah blah.
Committee is not allowed to do such. Cannot play a team from your own conference until regional final.
There are no SEC refs. For about the 100th time. But Doug Shows is horrible with Bama bias at key times.
Teams from the same conference can play each other as early as the 2nd round if they have only played once in the season. So if they don’t meet in the SEC tournament, it’s possible. Not likely but possible.
I was wondering where you were. These game threads are really tuff to read, the incessant bitching about officiating anytime a call goes against us turns my stomach and reminds me of my Auburn friends when I was in high school. Hope things are well!

For the record I'm not turning on Sears (or anyone else for matter). But as an upperclassmen guard you cannot make a play like that at any point in the game, especially that late against a team like A&M. It sort of reminded of the late hit Will Anderson made against the Texas ball carrier after he fell down, rolled over and then stood up (only to have Anderson blast him). Got to be much smarter than this when you're an upperclassmen and leader on the team.

I actually didn't have too much of an issue with this because we got off like 15 more shots from the field but couldn't hit anything from the outside.
He takes a lot of layups. That is what he is supposed to do on drives.
At least you did not call him a “ thug” like you did Miller and JQ.
