Herb didn’t block it. He just forced him to put to much arch on it. Great defense. Idk how the hell that tip in didn’t go.

You may be right. I haven’t seen it up close but I’ll think it was blocked until I see it.
And..why did Watford shoot that anyway? He killed us around the basket and that’s what they wanted out of a timeout?

IMO the bad pass to half court took Watford out of whatever play they were trying to setup. Him chucking a 3 was a panic thing as he probably assumed much more time was wasted retrieving the ball. If I had to guess Wade wanted an early enough shot that they could try and rebound a miss or two. So done the way I can only assume it was drawn up, Watford was going to do his thing by backing the defender up a few yards and turning into a shot/foul.

It definitely took them out of what they wanted. I hate that little inbound deal they tried, which is what we almost always do too. No screens, no movement. Just a seal and lib over the top. Anyway, Watfords thing isn’t anything to do with the 3 point line, so he wasn’t trying to do his thing there. And he didn’t really seem to panic. He took plenty of dribbles and crossed over about 4 times going nowhere before he shot it. If they didn’t get him the ball where he wanted it, 24 or 1 shot have came and got it. But kudos to Herb for not letting him catch it there and whoever was guarding the inbounder maybe.
