Until Reese figures out how to give even 80% and play without sulking on both ends of the floor, he needs to receive a message in the form of pine. He’s a big, who can’t get a rebound over a guard, even when he finds himself in position. At one point last night Oats put him in, Reese failed to grab the easiest rebound he could’ve possibly been served, and Oats immediately yanked him. It’s a shame, because his shot, with his size, makes him a mismatch on offense. Unfortunately, he’s in his own head right now and it’s negatively impacting his play.
