He's taken his share of undue criticism, but persevered and finished his career as a national champion. People said he was too short, lacked arm talent, and overall just wasn't good enough. Even many of his own fan base doubted him. Some of the more arrogant posters on here, and we have quite a few, said hat there was no way that Georgia could ever beat us as long as Bennett was their starter. Well he was money last night, going 4 for 4 in the 4th quarter and dropping an absolute dime to Mitchell for the go ahead touchdown. I doubt if he'll ever take a snap in the NFL, but he was a darn good college qb. I said all season long that I thought he was the 3rd best qb in the SEC. He sure looked like it last night, winning the offensive player of the game award. Congrats to him on a great career and in authoring an even greater story of a walk-on leading his team to a national championship.
