Jahvon Quinerly has been in the midst of the college basketball scandal trial that has been going on for several months. It was reported that Book Richardson, an assistant at Arizona at the time, paid Quinerly and his family to commit to Arizona. When this news surfaced, Richardson was arrested and Quinerly was forced to commit elsewhere (Villanova). Book Richardson has recently stated today that he reiterated to Villanova that Richardson did not pay Quinerly or his family and did everything he could to make sure he was cleared to play at Villanova. Quinerly was wrongfully accused of accepting 25k to attend Arizona when he swears that he did not. Once the news surfaced today reassuring he was not paid, Quinerly took to Twitter posting:
This is why Quinerly has a very good case to get a waiver to be eligible immediately.
