Why not run a play for Ellis and see if he can get it back? he started hot and then hasn't shot it much. I know the defense has started to focus on him but damn...
May lose by 20. They can’t miss and if they do they get the rebound
If they have to focus and you run sets for him, you can get other guys open or at the least get switches and create mismatches. Or you might even get the guy open you wanted.
On the verge of getting blown out! Its amazing how many rebounds go right by our guys hands and faces every game!
It's called being a freshman. We some time expect these guys to come in and be great all the time, for the majority of freshmen that is not the case. Primo went had his ups and downs last year.

What is Oats philosophy on timeouts? There has to be a reason he doesn't use them! It is effin mind boggling

Cal isnt afraid of calling a TO. He'd use them all if we got hot in the last 8 minutes here.
Cal calls a timeout up 13 at the first sign of his team looking out of sorts in any way. Brilliant idea. Someone HAS to ask oats about this. He obviously has a philosophy against using a timeout as a means to stop runs. Nearly every game we lose we give up a 12-0 run that completely swings the game
That Fn Ellis steal fumble dribble given back to Kentucky and drains a damn 3 ..........is literally how our season has gone in 1 possession !🖕🖕🖕🖕
That was a back breaker. Guess this is not a get right game for Bama. the positive is that Ellis found his shot. Most of us expected him to be the best player on the team and he has struggled for about a month.
It’s ultimately played out like I expected coming in, we just had to do the Bama hoops things and give us all hope before the inevitable demise. I like the run we made and so close to getting within 5 like you said… back breaker

He is just an incredible basketball player. There are guys who are good rebounders bc they hustle, and there are guys who are good at it bc they have mastered the skill of it… he’s both
Lot of frustrations but.. we played a pretty good game today. They just had a field day shooting and are a better team, even without their 2 guards lol. They have major national championship potential
