Yes he’s a very solid basketball prospect, I’d even say probably a 3⭐️ In basketball. But at the end of the day he will be the most successful on the football field.
He is not good. Saban won’t let him play basketball regardless, but he wouldn’t ever play meaningful minutes anyway.
I was under the impression that he Could play basketball. No mention that he Would though.
I hope he is on the team......

Didn't he literally say in his commitment that he was going to play both sports? A bit odd if Saban is saying no...
Rarely ever comes to fruition even when the kid says it.
But if we signed kool-aid to a Bball scholarship, only to save a football scholarship, and then let him play for the football team, he then counts towards the football numbers too, right?
No I get that. But I thought any scholarshipped player for one sport had to count against the numbers in any other sport they competed in so teams couldn't stash players in other sports once their alloted scholarships were gone.
you can not be on scholarship for anything else and play football
when they first came out with the limit on football, coach bryamt would have 25 or more baseball and basketball scholarships that were actually football players. they changed all the rules back then
Ole Miss used to give the full allotment of swimming scholarships to football players. They didn't have a swimming team.
