If we lose, it’s effort and defense. It we win, it’s effort and defense. Which there is truth to that. But I just don’t always like the effort excuse in a loss. Just seems like an easy way to blame the players. And there is no doubt that our offense having some patience helped our defense a ton tonight.

Totally agree. He’s right the defense held on down the stretch. But, we won because we shot 50 percent from three. Period. Effort has been there every night... shooting has not.
