According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Bryce Young will start for No. 3 Alabama to against No.6 Tennessee provided everything goes as planned in warmups. Friday, Nick Saban told ESPN that Young feels like he’s healthy enough to play. Thamel also reported that Tennessee's Jaylen McCollough and Cedric Tillman will not play in the game.
McCollough, a starting safety, was arrested on charges of aggravated felony assault Sunday after a man entered his apartment by mistake, leading to a bloody altercation. Tillman, Tennessee's leading receiver last year, missed the Volunteers' last two games after undergoing ankle surgery following the game against Akron on Sept. 17.
