They were open- Hogs did not think he would hit them and they were right.

That is what teams are doing now. They’ll live with Alabama beating them by the 3, but with Alabama being such a good paint scoring team as well, they’re going to start taking one of those two shots away. Alabama can hit 15 threes a game but that’s still only 45 points. They’re going to make them earn it in the paint if they try to score there and they haven’t been scoring well. That’s where running into a bigger team could become an issue if they’re not getting the foul call inside.

The way to open it up is to pull up for 10-15 foot jumpers when they’re open. Unfortunately that’s not going to happen

Some good points made in this thread that came to fruition last night ....

I don’t think anyone mentioned free throws in this one ... even when Bama was playing bobby Knight’s undefeated Indiana, CM Newton’s Bama team finished 7-14 at the free throw line..
