Our very own, the great and legendary Julio Jones, retired this morning from football after an outstanding career. This has been reported by all large media groups. With an NFL career of amassing 13,703 regular season receiving yards, the 5-time All-Pro WR and 7-time Pro-Bowler, was highly respected and revered by all who played with him or against him. His great hands, body control, strength, speed, physicality, and toughness, were admired and feared by his opponents. And he was a feared blocker who did his assignment ever play.

His accolades are long and numerous dating back to high school and continuing into the NFL, so I will not bore you will more praise of Julio. His successful recruitment to Alabama by Coach Nick Saban brought huge dividends for Alabama football recruiting even until now. Julio will be missed in football, but his future is bright.
