These maxims were taught to me by my wise parents, teachers and coaches. Unfortunately, I do not always live up to them, but they are goals and would be great if we all practiced them.
-Blessed are those who when having absolutely nothing worthwhile to say, they abstain from giving wordy evidence of the fact.
-A lot of people enjoy the comfort of an option without the discomfort of a thought.
-We are known by how we treat people.
-What we say about others tells more about ourselves that it does about the one being talked about.
-Don't argue with an idiot they will beat you with experience and bring you down to their level.
-Arguing with an idiot means that two idiots are arguing.
-Adversity reveals true character.
-A person is often deemed wise by what he or she doesn't say.
-When you point a finger at someone, you have three pointing back at yourself.
-A reasonable person can disagree without being disagreeable.
I realize these will go over like a lead balloon with some, but that is o.k. Hopefully though, maybe some will pause before posting an angry or insulting response. A great thing about Milso, I have never read anything he has posted that was not respectful of other opinions.
