I was talking with my brother yesterday, who is also a Bama alulm, and we were talking about spring training and got around to who would be #1 going into the spring (as if it really matters!). We came to the conclusion that despite Tua's NC game, Jalen will have to be #1 based on his overall body of work. In other words the job is his to lose.
Our reasoning is that is important to really keep this a QB competition and not a QB controversy. Like every position, it has to be won in practice and on the playing field so the team will respect the coaches' decision.
I would appreciate hearing from my BamaInsider friends what your opinion is.
(If this thread goes south I hope Kyle deletes it. My purpose is not to bash any of our guys. There's been enough of that these past couple of months or so.)
