Not trying to say Wade is a good coach but remember that with 7 seconds left the play call was for Watford to cut/curl towards the baseline and get the inbound. The ball was thrown over his head to half court. At that point there is no look at the coach and call a play, it turns into your prize player making the right play one on one. Everybody clears out. Watford could have just as easily tried to penetrate but with the way that game had played out there is no guarantee the whistle gets blown. Another thing to consider is fatigue. Shooting the three is the easiest thing to do in that situation.
