Heading into the final week of spring camp, we have a pretty good idea of what Alabama might look like next season. With that in mind, it is time to release our latest projected depth chart.

As always, here are a couple of ground rules: No. 1, this is not an official depth chart. No. 2, players who are not yet on Alabama’s official roster were not included. No. 3, players who are currently out with injury were placed where they are expected to be after recovery.

QB: Jalen Hurts, Jr. or Tua Tagovailoa, So. // Mac Jones, R-Fr.

Notes: Not much changes here. Whether or not Tua Tagovailoa participates in the A-Day game Saturday, the quarterback competition will linger on into fall.

RB: Damien Harris, Sr., // Najee Harris, So. // Josh Jacobs, Jr. // Brian Robinson, So. // Ronnie Clark, R-Sr.

Notes: Damien Harris not only leads this group, he's one of the biggest leaders on this offense. Watch out for Brian Robinson, he's someone who could make a lot of noise on A-Day.

WR X: Henry Ruggs III, So. // Derek Kief, R-Sr.

WR Z: DeVonta Smith, So. // Tyrell Shavers R-Fr

WR H: Jerry Jeudy, So. // Xavian Marks, Sr. // Chadarius Townsend, R-Fr.

Notes: Obviously, Jeudy and Shavers are out for the spring. That might mean Ruggs takes Jeudy's spot in the slot during A-Day. However, this is how Alabama lined up before the injuries.

TE: Hale Hentges, Sr. // Kedrick James, So. // Major Tennison, So.

TE-H: Irv Smith, Jr. // Miller Forristall R-So.

Notes: This might be the deepest Alabama's been at tight end in a while. Hentges and Smtih give Alabama two dependable returning starters. Although the real excitement comes from Kedrick James, who is having a great spring and could be on the verge of taking his game to another level next season.

LT: Jonah Williams, Jr. // Chris Owens, R-So. // Kendall Randolph, R-Fr. // Elliot Baker, R-Jr.

LG: Lester Cotton, Sr. // Deonte Brown R-So. // Dallas Warmack, R-Jr.

C: Ross Pierschbacher, R-Sr. // Brandon Kennedy, R-So. // Richie Petitbon, R-Jr.

RG: Jedrick Wills, So., // Joshua Casher, R-Sr. // Hunter Brannon, R-Fr.

RT: Alex Leatherwood, So. // Matt Womack, R-Jr. // Scott Lashley, R-So.

Notes: This will most likely be Alabama's starting offensive line during A-Day. It will be interesting to see how things look when Matt Womack returns from injury this fall. Williams seems cemented to the left tackle position and Pierschbacher looks to be the preferred option at center. Other than that, I could see a few changes happening in the future. Don't be surprised if Womack retakes the right tackle spot in the fall. That could create a big battle between Leatherwood and Cotton for the left guard spot.

DE:
Raekwon Davis, Jr. // LaBryan Ray, So.

NG: Quinnen Williams, R-So. // Phidarian Mathis, R-Fr. // Johnny Dwight, R-Sr.

DE: Isaiah Buggs, Sr. // Stephon Wynn, Fr.

Notes: It's looking more and more like Quinnen Williams will be the nose guard on defense. Phidarian Mathis has also had a solid spring and could take over if Williams needed to fill in for either Buggs or Davis at one of the end positions.

Sam LB: Christian Miller, R-Sr. // Jamey Mosley, R-Sr. // Christopher Allen, So.

Mike LB: Mack Wilson, Jr. // Markail Benton, R-Fr. // Ben Davis, R-So. // VanDarius Cowan

Will LB: Dylan Moses, So. // Keith Holcombe, R-Sr. // Joshua McMillon, R-Jr.

Jack LB: Anfernee Jennings, R-Jr. // Terrell Lewis, Jr. // Jarez Parks, Fr.

Notes: The starting four out of the base formation is pretty set. Where things get interesting is when you start looking at the reserves. We gave Holcombe the nod over McMillon based on his experience. However, it's not yet known if Holcombe will return for his senior year this season. Alabama's depth at inside is really thin. It'll be interesting to see if coaches try to switch someone like Allen to an inside spot in the fall. Just an idea.

CB: Trevon Diggs, Jr. // Shyheim Carter, Jr.

CB: Savion Smith, Jr. // Nigel Knott, R-So.

Star: Shyheim Carter, Jr. // Kyriq McDonald, R-Fr.

SS: Xavier McKinney, So. // Daniel Wright, So. // Slade Bolden, Fr.

FS: Deionte Thompson, R-Jr. // Jared Mayden, Jr. // Keaton Anderson, R-Jr.

Notes: Alabama is really thin in the secondary. Notice we have Carter listed as both a backup cornerback and the starting Star. We might see players play for both the Crimson and White squads during A-Day. The good news for Alabama is that reinforcements are on the way with four freshmen set to enroll in the summer.

P: Skyler DeLong, Fr.

PK: Joseph Bulovas, R-Fr.

KO: Joseph Bulovas, R-Fr.

SN: Scott Meyer, R-So. or Thomas Fletcher, So.

Holder: Mac Jones, R-Fr.
