This Alabama final four appearance reminds me a bit of Saban’s/ Bama’s first SEC champ game vs UF

The players had a great season but were not quite ready to take the next step that season. No, I’m not conceding the game just looking at the line and the huge challenge.

The other parallel is the way the bama players are so appreciative of the moment they are in; each minute the basketball team is being shown a diff side of the game: the attention, gifts, notoriety and playing in front of 60k plus.

I love the way this team is acting and saying all the right things. I also love the way our fans are acting. This is new and we are appreciative.

It is a tough task ahead of them but is this taste of how champions live be the difference next year and the season after ? Will the bball team take the next step because of this experience ?

Time will tell. All I can say is I’m enjoying watching this team experience the pinnacle of the big dance.

Bronny James Entering NBA Draft

I get his Dad is one of the greats and people thought he was great in high school, but given his situation wouldn’t it make sense to play college bb for another year?

Is this Final Four matchup with Connecticut comparable

in the impact it could have on Alabama basketball, to the 1926 Rose Bowl game Alabama verses Washington in football? That game gave Bama it's first national title and launched Bama into the program it is today.

My answer is yes? It's David verse Goliath. Same as Bama verse Washington. No one gave Bama a chance against Washington.
No one in reality is giving Bama much of a chance against Connecticut.

If Bama loses, its a well Bama got getting to the final four monkey off their backs. But if they win, is it same type magnitude of a win as Alabama verses Washington back in 1925?

On one hand I admire Hurley’s style

but he sure seems pretty confident heading into this weekend. I saw an interview he did on the Dan Patrick show and he was joking with some of the staff about riding the parade float if they win. Nothing too grandiose but sure not the humble coach speak you typically see heading into the F4. He definitely has the more talented team but I am loving where Bama is right now in this underdog role. Their last competitive game will have been nearly a month ago when tip-off occurs Saturday.

Roll Tide. Nothing to lose.

Angel Reese

I just got through watching on ESPN, Angel, Reese , crying about her character being attacked. They said we don’t know her. Did I or did I not see a video of her reaching over and pulling a girls ponytail to the floor? I saw one of them girls do it, I sure thought it was Angel Reese. You do that and then you wonder why people don’t think you’re a good person? I’m just a little in disbelief right now.
