And I thought the former Pac-12 was bad, the SEC is much worse. . . .

For years, those with connections to the Pac-12 were convinced that we had the most incompetent refs in college football. After the last two weeks, I now believe the SEC refs are every bit as bad, and probably much worse. Multiple blown calls last week, and at least two egregious calls today (the delay of game with no whistle personal foul, and the ball off the foot). Even with video reviews the SEC refs can't seem to get it right. . . . .

DeBoer compared to Kirby Smart

This may be a reach, but I was trying to think of another coach that inherited a very talented team at a top tier school; and then look at their first season record. The best I come up with is Kirby Smart at Georgia. Richt could never climb the mountain, but was a very successful recruiter. His teams regularly won 10 or more games a season. In Kirby's first year (without having had 26 players flee in the portal) he went 8-5 (including losses to Vandy and Georgia Tech). The next season he went 13-2 (his only losses were to Auburn in the regular season and Us in the SEC Championship). Again, this occurred before the current NIL/Transfer landscape. DeBoer will be fine!

Well, ….

I either caught Goat 23 in a lie or maybe he was just honestly mistaken. Anyway, he assured with emphasis he'd never say something about me wanting him oppressed when in fact I searched the archives and found that his word was Poverty. He said “I wanted him in poverty” and apparently he doesn’t consider this a racist remark. Hmmm….if you want something bad to happen to someone just because of color, I think you must be a racist. So, instead of admitting he was wrong or just apologizing he chose to cuss me and call me names. So, is that the new standard around here? If I disagree with you, I just call you f’n idiot etc and continue to berate our fellow Bama fan? Is this the way it works on the job now, call your co-workers a f’n idiot if you disagree? I almost forgot, Goat gets a little upset when you refer to him as 205 which I believe him to be. Their behavior is same, he gets defensive over Jalen just like 205 pushed for Philip Sims over AJ McCarron. So, whatever you do, do not call him 205 even though 205 disappeared and these two haven’t been seen in the same room since.

I go back further than most of you and my feeling above tomorrow is!

BAMA wins by Two Touchdowns
Milroe has a Heisman type game and quiets most naysayers for at least two weeks!
Our defense plays a decent but not great game!
We get ready for the next and most important game of our season in two weeks!
I don’t post things like this often but as the Beatles great song goes “I’ve got a feeling”
